This is the fourth birthday I get to spend with you dear L, and every year I’m amazed by your kindness and sweetness. I can’t believe I met you when you were three, just a baby. You’ve grown so fast! Now you are a happy, energetic, sometimes very opinionated, big boy! Because of you I confirmed my desire to be a mother. You made me a mommy. And I’m trying with all my heart to be the best mom you could have.

magical anthropologie

I got my Anthropologie catalogue in the mail the other day and what a great surprise I had. The November catalogue was shot in Peru! Yes, in two of its most beautiful and touristic cities. Cuzco, the capital of the Inca Empire, and Puno, located on the shore of Lake Titicaca, were the perfect background for all those gorgeous Anthropologie clothes.

My sister’s wedding was amazing! Ans she and her husband should get all the credit. They did all the planning by themselves (of course mom helped) but they chose all their vendors. The venue couldn’t have been better, a beautiful house in Cieneguilla, a town 20 minutes away from Lima. Their caterer did an awesome job with all the decor and keeping a cohesive theme: outdoors rustic. The food was abundant and delicious, the dj had all the guests dancing all day and night long and the cake was just absolutely adorable (and yummy!). It was so different from our wedding, which was a more formal evening event. Theirs was casual, familiar, outdoors. It made me want to get married again! With the same hubby of course!
