time to exercise

Since last week I’ve been trying to wake up early in the morning to do a quick workout. I’ve come to the realization that with my lifestyle and schedule, mornings-before-work workouts are the best fit for me. That way I’m done for the day and don’t have to worry about anything that could come up last minute (staying late at work, school meetings, birthday parties, dinner invitations and so on). It’s hard because I’m not a morning person. But I’m trying. So last Thursday Luke came downstairs when I was on the treadmill. Still half sleep asked what I was doing. I said I was exercising. He then asked if he could watch tv while I exercise. “Of couse” I said.

Next morning before the alarm goes off I felt a hand caressing my face.

Luke: Naaaaadiaaa, it’s 6 o’clock. I rolled on the bed.

Luke: Mooooommyyyyy, it’s siiiixxx o’cloooock, time to eeeeeexeeeerciseeeeeee.

That morning routine, Luke waking me up at 6 o’clock,  has been repeting for the past four days. Yes, including the weekend! I think I just got myself a mini-personal trainer!
