Last November I had the opportunity to organize a bridal shower for my little sister. I had fun planning it, even though it was a little hard to coordinate some details. We had to leave some things for when I arrive to Lima, which I did, a week before the event. That week was very hectic, running around with my mom, following up with guests, planning games, and DIYing a lot. Overall I think we did a good job. And I know my sister liked everything. Most important we got to spend a wonderful evening with family and friends celebrating a gorgeous bride!
We chose green and purple as the main colors, green being the bride’s favorite. We tried to keep it simple but cute. The bride loves chocolate, so it made sense to put together a candy table, which I have to say was a hit. We ordered some cute cupcakes, and I brought some a lot of chocolates to fill the table. I got the ceramic LOVE bowls from WeddingStar.com and found a cute template for the pennants here, which the mister helped me customize in our colors.
I also attempted to make some tissue paper pomanders, as I mentioned here. But they were really time consuming so I changed the plans and made tissue paper pom-poms instead. They were easier and faster. I think they turned out pretty good for being my first time. We used them to decorate all the tables.
I absolutely loooved my shower!! Everything was beautiful. Thank so much sis, love u!
