1. Favorite Song

Oh, that’s tough. I have way too many favorite songs.”Sweet Child O’mine” by Guns ‘n Roses, “Open your Eyes” by Snow Patrol among many others. But if I have to choose one, I’ll say “I Love the Way You Love Me” by Eric Martin. It was our first dance song and I think the lyrics really reflect how the mister and I feel about each other.
2. Favorite food

Peruvian! Maybe I’m biased but I think it’s one of the best. It has unique flavors, an amalgam of different ingredients and cultures. It’s tart, rich, spicy, surprising. I found a couple of good Peruvian restaurants in Westchester and a couple more in the city. But nothing compares to authentic Peruvian food (meaning, my mom’s food!). My favorite dish? “Tallarines verdes”, the Peruvian version of spaghetti with pesto sauce. My grandma used to make it for me all the time. I don’t eat it that often now, but it’s still my favorite.
3. Favorite day of the week

Definitely Friday. It just makes me feel like the photo above. It’s a fun day and of course the beginning of the weekend!

Hi Angeli, have you been to Lima’s Taste or Mancora? I like them both. I also heard about a new place, Panca, that I’m dying to try out.
Peruvian Food!!! the best!!!!!!!!!! ceviche, lomo saltado, huancaina, carapulcra, causa, tiradito, ocopa, chupe de camarones, chicharrón con camote, picarones, anticuchos… you name it!
